Arriving in Nairobi before your safari? If you choose to arrive a day before the safari, Centric Safaris can arrange an optional airport transfer from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to your preferred Nairobi hotel.
After disembarking your flight and completing immigration and customs formalities, our representative can meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for your overnight stay before the safari begins. This optional service offers added convenience for travellers arriving in Nairobi before their scheduled safari departure.

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli
Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi in shared safari transport, travelling through the scenic countryside towards the Amboseli ecosystem. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you leave the city behind and continue towards the open plains of southern Kenya.
Lunch will be served en route or upon arrival, depending on the selected itinerary. On reaching Elephant Gorge Camp – Amboseli, check in and settle into your surroundings before preparing for your first safari experience.
In the afternoon, head out in the shared safari vehicle for your first game drive through the Amboseli ecosystem. Explore the open plains and wildlife-rich areas while looking out for elephants and other species that inhabit the region.
As the afternoon comes to an end, return to camp in time for a memorable bush sundowner, offering an opportunity to relax and enjoy the surrounding scenery before sunset. Return to camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 2: Full-Day Amboseli Safari
After an early breakfast, set out in the shared safari vehicle for a full day of exploration across Amboseli’s wildlife-rich plains and wetland areas. Enjoy a morning game drive with opportunities to observe the region’s famous elephant herds and other wildlife in their natural surroundings.
Continue exploring the ecosystem while taking in the spectacular scenery, with Mount Kilimanjaro providing an iconic backdrop when weather and visibility allow. Depending on the selected itinerary, return to camp for lunch or enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your safari.
In the afternoon, embark on another shared game drive through areas known for their scenic landscapes and diverse wildlife. Take time to enjoy the changing atmosphere of the Amboseli ecosystem before returning to Elephant Gorge Camp – Amboseli in the evening.
An optional cultural experience or sundowner may be available, subject to the selected itinerary and availability. End the day with dinner and overnight accommodation at camp.
Day 3: Amboseli to Nairobi
Enjoy your final morning in Amboseli with breakfast at Elephant Gorge Camp – Amboseli. An optional final morning safari activity may be arranged, subject to availability and your selected itinerary, providing an opportunity to enjoy one last experience of the Amboseli ecosystem before departure.
After checking out, depart Amboseli in shared safari transport and begin your scenic journey back to Nairobi. Travel through the Kenyan countryside while enjoying the changing landscapes along the route.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, your safari concludes with a shared transfer and drop-off at your preferred location, marking the end of your 3-day Amboseli safari.
Shared Safari Arrangement
The safari uses shared transport throughout the itinerary, meaning you will travel with other guests in a safari vehicle. Game drives are also shared, with guests participating together in the same vehicle and following the scheduled safari program.
This arrangement allows travellers to experience the safari alongside other guests while exploring Amboseli’s landscapes and wildlife. Private transport and private game drives can be arranged separately upon request, subject to availability and an additional cost.
