Arriving in Nairobi before your safari? If you choose to arrive a day before the safari, Centric Safaris can arrange an optional airport transfer from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to your preferred Nairobi hotel.
After disembarking your flight and completing immigration and customs formalities, our representative can meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for your overnight stay before the safari begins. This optional service provides added convenience for travellers arriving in Nairobi before their scheduled safari departure.

Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru
Your safari begins with a morning departure from Nairobi in shared safari transport, travelling through the scenic Great Rift Valley towards Lake Nakuru. As you leave Nairobi, enjoy the changing scenery and views of the Kenyan countryside along the journey.
Upon arrival at Mbweha Safari Camp, settle in and enjoy lunch before preparing for your first safari experience. In the afternoon, head out in the shared safari vehicle for your first game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park.
Explore the park’s diverse landscapes while looking out for rhinos, giraffes, buffalo, birds and other wildlife. Lake Nakuru is an important habitat for a variety of species, making each game drive an opportunity to discover something different. Enjoy the afternoon safari experience before returning to camp for a relaxing sundowner, followed by dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 2: Full-Day Lake Nakuru Safari
After breakfast, depart from the camp in the shared safari vehicle for a full day of wildlife exploration in Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy a shared morning game drive with opportunities for wildlife viewing, birdwatching and scenic stops throughout the park.
Take time to appreciate the different landscapes and observe wildlife in its natural environment. Depending on the selected itinerary, lunch will either be served as a picnic in the park or at the camp before continuing with your safari experience.
In the afternoon, continue with another shared game drive, exploring more of the park and looking out for wildlife that may be active during the cooler afternoon hours. Return to Mbweha Safari Camp in the evening for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 3: Lake Nakuru to Nairobi
Enjoy breakfast at the camp before checking out and preparing for your return journey to Nairobi. An optional morning conservancy activity may be arranged separately, subject to availability, allowing you to enjoy one final experience before departing the area.
You will then depart in shared safari transport and begin the scenic drive back through the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you make your way towards Nairobi, with the safari journey gradually coming to an end.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, your safari concludes with a shared transfer and drop-off at your preferred location in the city.
Shared Safari Arrangement
The safari uses shared transport throughout the itinerary, meaning you will travel with other guests in a safari vehicle. Game drives are also shared, with guests participating together in the same vehicle and following the scheduled safari program.
This shared arrangement allows travellers to enjoy the safari experience together while exploring Lake Nakuru National Park. Private transport and private game drives can be arranged separately upon request, subject to availability and an additional cost.
Airport Transfer Note
Airport transfers are optional and are not included in the 3 Days / 2 Nights safari package rate. Guests who require airport pickup or drop-off can request this service when booking. Transfer arrangements, vehicle options and rates are available upon enquiry.
