Flights to the Maasai Mara are not automatically included. Road transport from Nairobi, private transport, and private game drives must be confirmed separately according to your selected arrangement and quotation.

Arriving in Nairobi before your Sentrim Mara Safari? If you choose to arrive a day before your safari, Centric Safaris can arrange an optional airport transfer from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to your preferred Nairobi hotel.

After disembarking your flight and completing immigration and customs formalities, our representative can meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for your overnight stay before the safari begins. This arrangement is particularly convenient for international travellers who prefer to rest in Nairobi before departing for the Maasai Mara.

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Your Sentrim Mara Safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, subject to your confirmed transport arrangement. If travelling by road, enjoy the scenic journey through the Great Rift Valley before continuing towards the Maasai Mara region. Watch the landscapes change as you leave the city behind and travel through Kenya’s countryside.

Lunch arrangements will depend on the confirmed itinerary. Upon arrival at Sentrim Mara Camp, check in and settle into the camp’s surroundings before preparing for your first safari experience.

In the afternoon, head out for your scheduled game drive in the Maasai Mara ecosystem. Explore the wildlife-rich plains while keeping watch for animals moving through the grasslands and along natural water sources. The open landscapes provide opportunities for wildlife observation and photography, while the scenery offers a memorable introduction to the Mara.

As the afternoon comes to an end, return to camp and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the surroundings. Later, enjoy dinner and overnight accommodation at Sentrim Mara Camp.

Day 2: Full-Day Maasai Mara Safari

After breakfast, continue your Sentrim Mara Safari with the scheduled game drives included in your package. Explore the Maasai Mara’s wildlife-rich plains and river ecosystem, with opportunities to observe animals in their natural habitat.

During the morning game drive, look out for some of the Mara’s iconic wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and various antelope species. Your guide will help you explore the landscape and look for wildlife along the way, although sightings cannot be guaranteed. The combination of open grasslands and riverine habitats provides a varied setting for wildlife viewing and photography.

Depending on the selected itinerary, lunch arrangements may involve returning to camp or having a picnic lunch in the reserve. Continue with the scheduled afternoon game drive, exploring more of the ecosystem and enjoying the changing scenery as the day progresses.

Return to Sentrim Mara Camp in the evening after your safari activities. Optional cultural experiences, picnic lunches, or sundowners may be available at an additional cost, subject to availability and confirmation.

Finish the day with dinner and your second night of accommodation at camp.

After checking out, begin your return journey. Guests travelling by road will depart the Maasai Mara for Nairobi using the road transport arrangement confirmed at booking. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you leave the Mara ecosystem behind.

Lunch arrangements and the expected arrival time in Nairobi will depend on your chosen transport and travel schedule. Your safari concludes with drop-off at the agreed destination if return road transport has been included in your quotation.
